Luisa Krug and Place-Making, Culture Cultivation, and Tulsa’s Global District

This episode of Grow With Us features Luisa Krug, the Executive Director of Tulsas’s Global District. Luisa is dedicated civil servant to the city of Tulsa having served organizations like the Tulsa Health Department and the Tulsa Planning Office, and now, Luisa leads the Tulsa Global District whose mission is to serve all East Tulsa residents, entrepreneurs and small business owners by fostering connection, economic opportunity, education and advocacy through inclusion and celebration of multicultural diversity. In this episode, Luisa and Evan discuss the cultural geography of Tulsa, the importance of listening to and uplifting the voices of a community, and how a city can create new traditions and opportunities for the folks already in the city.
